AP Reporter v. State Department Spokesman...

It’s not a conspiracy. It’s a coincidence.—Gore Vidal

Dear Friends + Interlocutors,

More fun & games in the Washington merry-go-round. [See Twitter link below.] Arrogant twerp for the U.S. State Department refuses to acknowledge that his allegations about Russia are not, in fact, just so much unsubstantiated blather. No proof of any kind will be forthcoming. You are supposed to believe it because he says so.

He’ll print out his just-made statement of non-fact if you are so stupid not to believe him. So there. Next question. The intrepid, veteran AP reporter can go seek solace with those bad guys in the Kremlin. OMG. Am I laughing. How blind can we be?

At this late date in the downward spiral of America, any adult human being would be foolish to take at face value any statements of a foreign policy nature coming out of Washington, D.C.

Do you think the USG does not deliberately fantasize and falsify when it suits it? You’ve heard of the Gulf of Tonkin incident which catapulted LBJ into Vietnam? Or FDR’s admittedly magnificent, albeit mendacious, speech before a joint session of Congress on the subject of Pearl Harbor?

Or President’s Wilson volte-face to drag America into the Great War after his reelection in 1916? Not to mention the more recent outrage of Iraq’s non-existent WMGs to facilitate the American’s invasion of Iraq.

Alas, it’s been one great and small confidence trick after another. So here we are.
