Dear Friends + Interlocutors,

I’m sending along the latest, important article my Prof John Mearsheimer on the Ukraine war. He projects an endless nightmare that will have adverse consequences for all parties concerned. 

The unfolding tragedy was avoidable. Mearsheimer reiterates this in his conclusion. He was virtually alone in warning Washington not to persist in its Ukraine policy. 

Our neocon and neoliberal overlords, however, were not dissuaded. They are pleased with the current outcome and the long-range prospects. They do not look back and do not acknowledge mistakes.
